Spiritual Healing Services: My Journey

Hello, I am Jennifer Ledermann, the owner of Rising Above the Darkness, LLC. I believe that when we are born, all of us possess what is considered "special" gifts. You can see it in young children today; a certain connection to the spirit world remains, and they appear to possess the ability to communicate with an unseen realm. Children often sense the emotions of the adults around them, but they quickly learn to hide those powers. 

I personally began my spiritual journey by telepathically communicating with my paternal grandparents around the age of 5. I saw my first apparition, my grandfather, when I was 8 or 9 years old. Friends while growing up were often unsettled by my premonitions, and my mom frequently reminds me that wise women would approach her saying I had the gift of "knowing." 

In my early twenties, I began working with oracles and runes and have explored countless spiritual and New Age books over the last 30 years. In 2001, I married my best friend and was blessed with two beautiful daughters. Unfortunately, in 2016, the marriage ended. It was at that darkest moment that I found solace in reconnecting to spiritual energy. 

I began training with Vickie Evans from Old World Wisdom in Metro Detroit and became a certified Reiki Master. My growth and interest in energy work naturally introduced me to shamanic practices, and I trained in both Peruvian Andes and Celtic Shamanism. After completing my training with Vickie, I moved to Wisconsin in 2021 and continue my shamanic studies with Ana Larramendi at https://thehollowbone.com/ and Debra Morrill at https://debramorrill.com. 

Ana has assisted me in working more closely with my guides and the archangels, providing a secure container for performing ceremonies and rituals. She has strengthened my soul retrieval and psychopomp abilities. Additionally, Ana has taught me how to connect more deeply to nature and the elements for assistance and healing grace. 

Debra specializes in ancestral healing, and her training is helping me unravel my personal limiting beliefs. She is teaching me valuable methods to assist in healing family trauma and unhealthy patterns. I have also learned how to connect to ancestral guides and my family's gathering place, which we all can connect to for support and guidance. 

These transformative experiences have helped me heal from childhood and relationship wounds. I am now able to create a journey of health and vitality guiding me into my future. I hope my wisdom as a shamanic practitioner and Reiki Master can help others begin living their authentic lives and learn how to transmute darkness into light.
